Day 1: Fan Letter

Story Embers's Support the Writing Community Challenge

From August 3rd to August 16th, I’ll be participating in Story Embers’ Support the Writing Community Challenge. (Use the link to visit their website to learn more and join in.) #SupportTheWritingCommunityChallenge

Story Embers’ Support the Writing Community Challenge starts tomorrow!

I don’t about you, but I’m excited to spread some light and encouragement. Which is sort of why I’m posting this a day early (even though the picture says August 3rd).

About a day after my first post went out, I found a need in the writing community to support for Day 5. But the window for supporting the cause ends on August 4th.

So while tomorrow I’ll still be writing fan letters to other authors, today I’m sharing with you someone else’s story. Think of this as a different type of fan letter—a fan letter for a publisher.

Little Lamb Books, a publisher of Christian fiction for children and teens, was hit hard by the pandemic (like so many others). They have a Kickstarter campaign to raise much need funds to help them continue to publish their award-winning titles. Please check it out and pitch in, if you can. Here’s the link: Little Lamb Kickstarter.

Thanks!

If you’d like to learn more about the company, Lands Uncharted recently posted an interview with the owner, Rachel Pellegrino.
