This is a book review written by my thirteen-year-old son, Keagan. It has been published with his permission.
Light of Mine is a Christan novel. It’s aimed at middle-grade readers, and features three fictitious, light-based tools, creatures that have been blessed by God, and a family devoted to God.
The main characters are Lauren, Aiden, and Ethan. Their father disappeared when he went out to make weapons for the Mighty Mercenaries, and their mother was captured when she went looking for him. Their goal is to stop the darkness from spreading and to find their parents. Meanwhile, the Dark one and his pawns try to stop them. Lauren, Aiden, and Ethan must ignite the Towers of Light before the darkness covers all of Zoura.
Light of Mine made me feel more aware of how sin (the darkness) works in our world, like I should be cautious wherever I am, and to put my faith into God alone. God is the only constant source of love, strength, and righteousness, He is always faithful.
I recommend Light of Mine to those who are looking for an adventurous and imaginative story of faith.
