Custom Typesetting enhances a book’s interior design with thoughtful page layouts and graphical elements (like illustrations) specific to each story.
Since copyediting and typesetting go hand-in-hand, I’m currently pursuing a copyediting certification. My Custom Typesetting services will include proofreading with options for light copyediting and custom illustrations.
Experience is valuable, especially as a student. With that in mind, I am considering Custom Typesetting projects to be completed at a reduced rate of $0.003 per a word (based on the final word count) with a $20 minimum.
Included: one round of light copyediting, typesetting according to your request and your printers specifications, and one round of post-typsetting proofreading. (Proofreading is not just to review for lingering typos and grammatical errors, but also to ensure the final typeset design is rendered on the page as it should be.)
Unless otherwise requested, I will use the Chicago Manual of Style for fiction, the Associated Press Stylebook for non-fiction, and the Merriam-Webster Dictionary for preferred spelling.
If you have any questions or have a project you would like me to consider, please contact me.
